UDP’s Taiwan Epochal Democracy Magazines is a collection of popular political science publications from Taiwan and Hong Kong from the dynamic period 1949–2010, a time of complete transformation in greater China. The focus of these publications is questions of democracy and social development, from the perspective of relatively freer Taiwan and Hong Kong. The following publications are presented:

These specific titles were selected for their particular impact on the intelligentsia and youth of their generation and contribution to the evolving social climate. Among the authors are renowned scholars and sinologists, social scientists and literary writers whose contributions helped define movements of these critical decades but whose writings are not coherently collected elsewhere as a single corpus.
